First approved last summer with the release of their debut mini-album, ‘I I Syndrome’, Japanese pop-rap duo Charisma.com are back with their first full-length LP ‘DIStopping’. And it finds them on full angry form once again.
Still lumbered with a URL they don’t own for a name (apparently the result of some confusion about what “.com” actually meant), the lead single from the album is ‘Iina Dzuke Burū’, an anthem to not conforming – more of a bold statement in J-pop than over here in the West.
If the song’s message wasn’t clear enough (and being in Japanese, I guess it’s not), the video for the track sees MC Itsuka and DJ Gonchi head out to a school hall to corrupt The Kids directly through the medium of dance. Check it out here:
