He may have a name that’s really annoying to type, but Le1f is nonetheless one of the most exciting rappers around at the moment. I know, who would ever have thought it possible? His ‘Hey EP was released digitally through XL in March, and was joined by a twelve-inch vinyl counterpart last week.
Marking the physical manifestation of the EP was the simultaneous release of the video for a track from it, ‘Sup’. The clip sees Le1f larking about in the woods wearing a range of stylish outdoor-wear. And who doesn’t like seeing rappers larking about in the woods? No one. It’s baffling why they don’t do it more often. Metallers and folkies, they’re always hanging around in the wood. Rappers not so much.
