Approved: Sable Noir

Having bagged a support slot on Phoenix’s French tour last year, Sable Noir this week release their debut album, ‘Chew!’ Describing themselves as “making zouk love songs go grunge”, the record hones in on ethereal tones and growling vocals. And chewing; the majority of tracks being named after items of food.
The album is available on Bandcamp here. They also have a very interesting video for their track ‘Banana Coins’, which was released earlier this year. It fittingly features a bunch of bananas. You can watch it here.
