Kim Gordon writing autobiography

Kim Gordon, once of Sonic Youth and at present in Body/Head, is writing an autobiography, according to Publishers Weekly.
‘Girl In A Band’, as it’s apparently titled, will chart Gordon’s dealings in NYC in the early 1980s, and the first days of Sonic Youth. Once it’s done, it’ll be printed, confirms the New York Times, by HarperCollins.
The NYT adds that Gordon is soon to release a packet of essays written at that same time for art zines, this via Sternberg Press. Oh, and she’s also going to star in HBO’s ‘Girls’. Body/Head’s first LP ‘Coming Apart’, meanwhile, is available now. Taken from it, this is ‘Actress’:
