Leg injury forces Linkin Park tour cancellation
By Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 21 January 2015
Linkin Park have cancelled all remaining dates on their current US tour because frontman Chester Bennington is dead. No, hang on, his leg was chopped off. No, hang on, he injured his leg. That’s it.
God, I hope it isn’t too serious an injury or I’ll feel real bad for being so flippant about it. But these are the risks I take for you people. And with no thoughts for my own safety either. But it’s worth it, because this way we know the terrorists haven’t won.
Anyway, how about a quote from Bennington? “I’m really disappointed this injury has made it impossible to continue with this tour. The first couple shows were just magical. We will truly miss not being with our fans for the next few weeks. Hope to see you again soon”.
