The Rolling Stones add European shows
By Aly Barchi | Published on Wednesday 2 April 2014
Having postponed all the Australia/New Zealand-based stops on their ’14 On Fire’ world tour last month, The Rolling Stones are now to hit the road again in May for a group of just-announced European shows.
The band, of course, called off the Australian/NZ part of the tour following the suicide of Mick Jagger’s long-time partner L’Wren Scott, writing in a statement at the time: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Mick and L’Wren’s family and friends at this incredibly devastating and difficult time. As a band we are one big family and we’ve all come together to support Mick, and will do everything we can to help him. We are currently rescheduling touring plans. We thank everyone for their understanding”.
Whilst The Stones are still to reschedule the missed shows, they have added new dates over on the continent (so no UK or Irish ones), the first of which is on 26 May and Oslo’s Telenor Arena in Norway. Find those listed at this link.
