Trevor Horn to receive MPG’s Outstanding Contribution Award
By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 8 January 2014
The Music Producers Guild has announced that it will give Trevor Horn its Outstanding Contribution prize at its annual awards ceremony next month. Which seems like a jolly good idea to me.
MPG Chairman Steve Levine told CMU: “I’m thrilled that the MPG is recognising Trevor with this award. I have known Trevor for over 30 years and have always admired his innovative production skills. He has always pioneered the use of new technology and is always happy to exchange and share his knowledge with other producers and with manufactures to help move that technical curve further forward. He is a very worthy recipient of this extremely prestigious award”.
The MPG Awards will take place at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London on 13 Feb.
