Young Guns Network announces Buzz Jam musical instrument hack day

The Young Guns Network has announced a new event – Buzz Jam – in partnership with Sony Music UK, We Make Awesome Sh.it and WMA.
In a change from YGN’s usual networking events, this will see six teams of coders hack together new musical instruments over 32 hours, ready to be played in a one-off performance at the event’s conclusion.
YGN founders Sam Potts and Remi Harris say of the event: “Tech is the new frontier of the music industry, and with Buzz Jam we connect a new generation of managers, emerging artists and coders to collaborate on something truly special. Mashing code and music together to create one unique performance and a profound experience for participants and our partners”.
Buzz Jam will take place at Red Bull Studios on 19-20 Sep, with artists and managers invited to get involved. More info here, and here’s a video:
