111 track #savefabric compilation announced

As the campaign to save the Fabric club in London continues, Fabric Records and Houndstooth have announced a new compilation, titled ‘#savefabric’. Artists associated with both labels were asked to donate previously unreleased original tracks or remixes to the project, resulting in the tracklist swelling to 111 contributions in a matter of weeks.
“In the era of the playlist, this compilation represents a comprehensive overview of electronic music from the outer fringes of experimental explorations right through to music aimed squarely at the dancefloor”, say the labels in a statement. “Ahead of the court date which will determine the long term future of Fabric nightclub we’d like to present this compilation as a document of this moment in time but also as the perfect embodiment of everything Fabric is and stands for”.
Among the contributors are Skream, Clams Casino, Simian Mobile Disco, Coldcut, Howie B, µ-Ziq, Machinedrum, dBridge, Caspa & Rusko, Pinch, Fake Blood, House Of Black Lanterns, Nightwave, Appleblim, 18+ and Clark
