2014 dates set for Nouvelle Prague

Organisers of Nouvelle Prague, one of Europe’s newest showcase festivals and music conventions, have confirmed that the event will return for a second time at the Czech capital’s Staropramen Βrewery on 7 and 8 Nov.
The event’s Stepan Suchochleb told CMU: “We got tons of positive feedback from both delegates and speakers about our first year, and a great response from media and various export agencies around the world. In 2014 we plan to bring in slightly more bands and, while the aim of the event will still be to showcase international talent, we plan to programme some Czech acts this time too, artists who we think have a chance to make it at the international level”.
Aside from the showcase side, the event will once again host an industry conference for both the local and international industry. Suchochleb adds: “One of the key reasons for setting up the event was to foster communication within the Czech industry, which I think worked this time. And it was also great to see many people from Slovakia at the event too, as our countries have always been so close together and it’s great to provide a platform for more collaboration”.
