The Wanted

And so it begins. Following confirmation that The Wanted will ‘take a break’ (which isn’t the same thing as splitting, apparently) after a last tour in March, the band’s planned “personal endeavours” are already taking shape.

The Sun claims that Wanted man Tom Parker is likely to be first to the solo table, releasing a single featuring bankrupt ex N-Dubz MC Fazer in February.

Hearsay is rife, meanwhile, that Max George and Nathan Sykes have both signed on a solo basis with Justin Bieber’s life-coach and manager Scooter Braun, who, as the world knows, was also involved in the management The Wanted. Though ol Scoot is probably quite busy elsewhere just now, drag-race-damage-limitation, and all.

Meanwhile, moaning on to The Sun, George has discussed the ‘mood’ within The Wanted of late: “Over the past year there has been a lot of tension. Our personal lives drove us apart – things started to happen and we were drifting. We used to be such a brotherly pact, but it started to feel like it wasn’t The Wanted anymore”.
