Adam Webb joins Name PR

Music business PR agency Name PR has announced the appointment of Adam Webb, formerly comms man at UK Music, to the role of Senior Account Director. He will manage comms activity for a number of Name’s existing clients, including Merlin, Cooking Vinyl, Essential Music & marketing and MusicTank, as well as helping Name founder Sam Shemtob further grow the business.

Webb has been working in a freelance capacity with Name for a few months now having departed UK Music last July. He also works freelance in a journalism guise, having previously written for titles including The Guardian and Music Week, and will continue to do so.

Confirming his new job, Webb told CMU: “I am delighted to be joining Sam and his team. Name has an excellent reputation within the industry and some fantastic clients, and I look forward to helping them build and develop the business”.

Shemtob added: “Adam’s an exceptional thinker and writer and brings a level of kudos and expertise to the team that may be unmatched. And as anybody knows, he is a total pleasure to work with. With Adam on board, we’re looking forward to diversifying our offering and giving our clients a deeper, more strategic level of service than ever before”.
