Aerosmith tour plans on hold
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 16 January 2009
Aerosmith have put any possible touring plans on hold for a while after guitarist Joe Perry injured his knee in an accident that apparently took place in Boston and resulted in emergency surgery.
He’s now due to receive 3-4 months of treatment, and that will hinder any touring plans in that period. The first affected gig is likely to be one due to take place in Venezuela on 1 Feb.
It’s not clear whether the injury will affect work on the band’s new album, which they recently announced is in development. It’s their first studio album since 2001.
