Aiden Grimshaw to release debut single

Former ‘X-Factor’ runner-up Aiden Grimshaw is to release his debut single, ‘Is This Love’, on 3 Jun via Sony/RCA. It’s fair to say, the drum n bass-influenced sound he’s gone for is a bit of a surprise.
Says Aiden of his time on the telly talent show: “I didn’t really know what I wanted from it. I love music, and I knew I could sing, but I didn’t think I was ‘X-Factor’ material. I’d been given this opportunity and I didn’t want to waste it. But I had no idea what sort of music was really me. Everyone else had their own ideas, but all I knew was what I didn’t want”.
He’ll release his debut album, ‘Misty Eyes’, on 13 Aug. For now, you can listen to ‘Is This Love’ here:
