B295 returns to the soon-to-close Club Colosseum, the landmark 90s venue for house and UK garage, for a thirteenth birthday party. And the big draw is Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont (pictured), a true UKG stalwart and one half of the Tuff Jam project.

This Saturday he’ll be playing a two hour set, backed by Norris ‘The Boss’ Windross, Ramsey & Fen, Hermit, Creed and Buzzard in the main room. US vocalist Gerideau will also be playing his first live show in the UK for five years, with soulful aplomb on on classic anthems including ‘Masquerade’.

With four rooms of sounds covering jungle classics, deep house, 80s soul and R&B, Back To 95 will whip up some proper old skull party atmosphere for its birthday celebrations. And heading up the old skool jungle/DnB room are Jumping Jack Frost and Phantasy, while Rampage and the Firin Squad are let loose in the 80s R&B and classics room.

Sounds like a great night out, taking you back to the future of UKG.

Saturday 1 Mar, Club Colosseum, 1 Nine Elms Lane, Vauxhall, London SW8 5NQ, 10pm-5am, £17.50-£20, more info here.
