CMU Approved
Approved: Bing & Ruth
By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 15 February 2017
A revolving collection of musicians orbiting the work of composer David Moore, Bing & Ruth will release a new album, ‘No Home Of The Mind’, via 4AD this Friday.
Ahead of the LP comes new single ‘The How Of It Sped’. On the piece, Moore’s hypnotic piano is grazed by glacial swells of strings. Like previous single, and album opener, ‘Starwood Choker’, it’s music to get lost in.
In fact, ‘Starwood Choker’ does a great job of pulling you away from wherever you are and into the world created on the album, setting you adrift ready for later pieces like ‘The How Of It Sped’.
You’ll be able to enjoy this experience live at LSO St Luke’s on 26 May. For now, here’s the video for the new track:.
