CMU Approved
Approved: Blinding
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 14 February 2017
Influenced by electronic music from garage and dubstep to trip hop, Blinding have plans to unveil their debut album track by track every two weeks until the complete record is properly released in June. Already three tracks in, it’s proving to be something worth regularly tuning in to.
Opening tracks ‘End Of The Earth’ and ‘Lean’ are lush, slow-paced productions, but latest release ‘Breath Out’ shows that the album is building towards something bigger. It’s on this third track that the garage influence comes most to the fore, using the change in pace to build the drama ready for track four, ’16 Shots’, this Friday.
As well as releasing the album in June, the band will perform their first headline show at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on 28 Jun.
