Approved: Blonde Maze

New York-based musician Amanda Steckler released her debut track as Blonde Maze last week, the first to be taken from an upcoming four-track EP titled ‘Oceans’.
The songs on the EP are all drawn from “the love, pain, excitement and longing that comes with being an ocean away from someone or something dear to you”, she explains.
And all of that certainly comes across in ‘Summer Rain’, a woozy pop track packed with a feeling of longing. The track’s smart production, Steckler cutting up her vocals to dance around the instrumental portions, creates a rich atmosphere to sink back into.
