Hating, ‘Moulting’, and nursing a substantial punk grudge since debut single ‘Council Flat Blues’, it’s Leeds’ Eagulls. Having split a seven-inch with Mazes, and released an EP (titled ‘EP’) via Canada-based label Deranged, the band are at present signed to NY label Partisan, where they’ll stay at least till their first LP is released in early 2014.
New track ‘Nerve Endings’, which will trail the LP on 30 Sep, is as its title belies; pained, red-raw and tightly-wired, like it hasn’t slept, whilst still quite tuneful. Find the band’s live listings here, and finally, test ‘Nerve Endings’ here:
