One of a fresh spring line of do-it-all London artists, Iranian-born Tālā will on 2 Jun make her first significant move via her ‘Duchess’ EP.
Sitting on the right of its eerie title track – the serpentine child of Tālā’s East-meets-West sensibility – is the more direct-hitting ‘Serbia’, which motors fast over blasts of lordly brass, pivoting on the satisfied line “You give me something/ Just what I need”.
