CMU Approved
Approved: The Molotovs
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 6 April 2010
When we first came across The Molotovs in summer 2008 they described themselves as “a little twenties, a little rickety, a little dusty”. I’m not sure that’s much help in getting across to you how they sound through the medium of words, though it’s a lot more fun that the ‘indie-popster’ tag we’ve given them in our big file of bands.
Either way, these guys are a band for whom things like social networks were made, all you need to know from me is that The Molotovs are very CMU approved, and now you can go check out the player on their MySpace page to work out for yourselves what they sound like.
Having released a mini-album last year, they have a new single out this week, ‘City’s Guest’, which is playing on the MySpace. And if you buy a ticket to tomorrow night’s launch party at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, I think they’ll give you the track as a free download. All is explained at this here URL:
