Avril Lavigne departs Nettwerk Management
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 11 December 2008
Avril Lavigne has split from her management company Nettwerk, according to Billboard.
Sources at the company reportedly confirmed that her departure was announced internally last week, but as yet the company, who also manage the likes of Barenaked Ladies and Stereophonics, have not commented on the matter externally.
Lavigne first came to the attention of Nettwerk’s CEO Terry McBride when she was an unknown, and he signed a deal with her prior to the release of her 2002 debut album ‘Let Go’.
There’s no indication as to Lavigne’s future plans.
