Bastille to release mini LP

Pop types Bastille, aka Dan Smith and band, will later this year release a mini compilation of all the spare tracks that didn’t quite make their first LP, ‘Bad Blood’.
Confiding in the Daily Star, Smith said: “We have a lot of tracks because I ran out of time while making the album. Stuff like ‘Sleepsong’ and ‘Durban Skies’ I wanted to put on the extended cut of ‘Bad Blood’, but I was talked out of it. So the compromise is that I’m going to re-visit those and others later in the year, and put out a mini-album of songs”.
Said mini-album, when it materialises, will also feature “stuff from old EPs” and various live favourites. So, that’s nice.
But till that time, this is ‘Sleepsong’, as was initially released part of Bastille’s ‘Overjoyed’ EP:
