BBC Trust to review Radios 3, 4 and 7
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 7 June 2010
The BBC Trust has announced it has begun a service review of Radios 3, 4 and 7. Which probably means the BBC regulator will say all three stations are wonderful, and then BBC management will decide to shut them down.
Radio 7, of course, is already earmarked for a rebranding, with the Beeb’s controversial Strategic Review – which proposes the shut down of 6 and the Asian Network – proposing 7 be renamed 4Extra.
The reviews will begin with a twelve week public consultation.
