Roving Oasis spin-off Beady Eye have axed shows in Belgium and Japan, whilst guitarist Gem Archer is treated for an unnamed injury.

The band, who were meant to play Belgian fest Lokerse today, and at Tokyo’s Summer Sonic on 10 Aug, now… well, won’t.

Breaking the news, BE HQ states: “Due to guitarist Gem Archer’s injury, the band regret to inform fans that they will be cancelling their upcoming shows in Belgium and Japan until further notice. They are very sorry for any disappointment this will cause but as Gem is an integral part of the band there is no way that they can play without him”.

In Beady Eye-adjacent news, Liam Gallagher is still implicated in claims that he fathered a lovechild with US celeb writer Liza Ghorbani earlier this year. It was alleged last week that Gallagher had saught a confidentiality agreement from Ghorbani, even as his marriage to one-time All Saint Nicole Appleton is said to be faltering.
