Bono writes column for New York Times
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 12 January 2009
More Bono now – I suspect he’ll be everywhere in the run up to the new U2 album being released. Oh joy. Though this particular bit of Bono exposure will annoy, or entertain, I suppose, mainly New Yorkers.
The U2 man has been signed up by the New York Times to contribute the occasional opinion column. The first such column was published this weekend, and you can read it here.
Welcoming his new contributor, Times editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal said Bono “is an extraordinary man who thinks deeply about his art and the major issues confronting the world”.
