Bronfman restraining order bars MIA from taking child out of US, says report
By Andy Malt | Published on Friday 15 March 2013
MIA’s previously reported Twitter outburst accusing her ex-partner Ben Bronfman of attempting to take their four year old son Ikhyd away from her relates to a restraining order barring the hip hopper from taking the child out of the US, according to the New York Post.
A source told the paper: “MIA has been texting and calling Ben, saying she will take their son to London, even though they both live in Brooklyn and the child goes to school there. Ben filed a motion for a temporary restraining order preventing her from taking their son to the UK against his wishes”.
MIA was reportedly handed the legal papers on Wednesday evening, prompting the since-deleted tweets.
