Busted star takes to the West End
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 16 August 2010
No, James Bourne’s Son Of Dork musical hasn’t been picked up for a West End run (though it’s still surely only a matter of time). Instead, former Busted frontman Matt Willis is set to play a lead role in ‘Flashdance The Musical’. He will star alongside proper actress Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, who has most recently played Rizzo in ‘Grease’.
Currently in rehearsals, Willis’ first preview performance will take place on 24 Sep, with press night set for 14 Oct.
Willis said via Twitter: “I am finally gonna be in the West End! Wanted to since I was fourteen! This is gonna be awesome!”
But anyway, this Son Of Dork musical we mentioned. All you need to know about that is contained within this video: vimeo.com/10906298
