Charmfactory announces promotion, appointment
By Aly Barchi | Published on Friday 28 February 2014
Now in its sixth year in the pop PR game, Charmfactory has confirmed the promotion of Lorraine Long, who’s worked for the London-based company since 2009, to the position of Director Of Communications.
Since joining the firm, Long has worked on campaigns for Paul Simon, Patti Smith, Tori Amos, new faces John Newman and Kodaline, the Barclaycard Music Prize, and festivals like Wireless and Wychwood.
Charmfactory MD Sarah Thompson has this to say about it all: “Lorraine is an invaluable member of my team and the promotion is well deserved”.
Thompson has also made a new addition to Charmfactory HQ in Senior PR & Brand Manager Heather Swaine, who moves to the company following a job as Head of Online PR at Warner Bros Records.
