Cheryl Cole confirmed for X-Factor return too

So, it seems that ITV is very much attempting to get ‘X-Factor’ viewing figures back up to their heyday peaks by simply restoring the show that went out during that era.
Not only is Simon Cowell returning to judge on the next series of the talent vehicle, so is that there Cheryl Cole, last seen in the ‘X’ universe being fired from the American version of the show before it even got to air.
Following much speculation that Cole would join Cowell in returning to the show later this year, the one time Girl Aloud said last night: “I’m very happy and excited to be returning to ‘The X-Factor’. I’m inspired and ready to find new talent and potential popstars. It’s going to be a fun series”.
Meanwhile Cowell added: “I am so happy that Cheryl has agreed to join ‘The X Factor’ again. The last time we worked together in the UK was incredible and produced some really successful artists. Obviously the plan is to do the same again… so it’s back to work!”
