CMU Insights can run training courses for your team at your office

By | Published on Wednesday 6 November 2019

The final CMU Insights training course of 2019 takes place later today, but don’t forget we also run seminars and masterclasses in-house for music companies and organisations around the UK and beyond.

These include two-hour, half-day and full-day sessions covering topics like music rights, the streaming market, labels, distributors, management, artist deals, music marketing and PR.

A popular session for getting started is our ‘Key Music Business Trends’ seminar. We have two and three hour versions of this, covering the streaming market, copyright reforms, anti-piracy campaigns, secondary ticketing and all the music industry’s data challenges.

For those fully focused on the music rights side of the business there is our more advanced ‘Key Developments In Music Rights’ session, which brings attendees fully up to speed on the European Copyright Directive, the US Music Modernization Act, the termination right and plagiarism cases, and issues around music rights data.

There is also a wide assortment of other seminars to choose from outlined here, or we can put together something bespoke for any one client’s needs.

Companies and organisations that have utilised CMU’s in-house training services for their staff or members include ATC, BPI, EmuBands, ie:music, MMF, the Musicians’ Union, Sony Music, SoundCloud and Warner Music in the UK, plus BalaFeesh in Jordan, COSCAP in Barbados, IMRO in Ireland, JASCAP in Jamaica, NEMAA in Norway, TPPRL in Tanzania, and the British Council in Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
