Other notable announcements and developments today…

• Two women have been arrested in relation to the previously reported attack on Skindred frontman Benji Webbe in Newport last month. One was charged with assault, the other with affray and criminal damage.

• Universal Music has made Alexander Buhr the new Managing Director of Decca Classics. His predecessor, Paul Moseley, has been appointed Senior Vice President Of Strategic Content And Partnerships, Global Classics. “Careers”, said Buhr. “Content”, added Mosely.

• East London’s Lion Coffee & Records has opened a pop-up coffee and record shop in Gap’s Oxford Street store. It’ll be there until Record Store Day, at which point it will presumably have done enough. There are going to be events too. Have a look at the events.

• You know, I’m getting pretty bored of all your droning on about how Apple Music isn’t available on Sonos. It is now. Are you happy?

• Lana Del Rey’s done a new video. It’s got Father John Misty in it.

• Gwen Stefani’s first solo album for a decade will be released on 18 Mar. It’s called ‘This Is What The Truth Feels Like’ and it has the most abysmal artwork.

• There’s now a video for ‘I’m In Control’ by AlunaGeorge. Watch that here.

• Nonsemble will release new album ‘Spaceship Earth’ on 24 Mar. Listen to ‘Somnambulists’ from it here, which features Mel Tickle and Shem Allen.

• Hey, so Sarah P has a new video out. It’s for a track called ‘I’d Go’, taken from her recent-ish EP ‘Free’.
