• Your good mate Jermaine Dupri has signed on with agency CAA for representation across his career as an artist, producer and all round industry type.

• iHeartMedia last week announced Alissa Pollack as its new EVP, Global Music Marketing as part of an initiative to leverage “iHeartMedia’s extensive pool of listener data and deep music and consumer insights to benefit advertising partners, brands and artists”. Fun times.

• Sufjan Stevens’ ‘Carrie & Lowell’ album is brilliant. Like, just so great. Listen to it seven times today. And watch this new live video of the title track.

• Brooke Candy has released a video for new single ‘Happy Days’. “I am exploring sounds that are bit more polished and digestible”, she says of the development of her style on this track.

• Andrew Bird will release a new album called ‘Are You Serious’ on 1 Apr. I am serious. Here’s the first single, ‘Capsized’.

• The Comet Is Coming have announced that they will release their debut album, ‘Channel The Spirits’, on 1 Apr. Here’s ‘Do The Milky Way’ from last year’s ‘Prophesy’ EP.

• Coldplay will be performing at the BRITs on 24 Feb, but if you want to see them play a full show the same night, you can catch them elsewhere in the same building at the IndigO2 venue. They’ll be raising money for War Child, playing the final BRITs Week show. Tickets are £75, more info here.
