• Newish label Jupiter Sound has put out its second release, a cassette compilation titled ‘Dark Days On Earth’. Listen on SoundCloud here.

• Prophets Of Rage will release their debut EP, ‘The Party’s Over’, on 25 Aug. It’ll feature two studio tracks and three live recordings. Here’s their reworking of the Public Enemy track from which they take their name.

• Billy Bragg and Joe Henry have released another track from their forthcoming ‘Shine A Light’ album. Here’s their take on Woody Guthrie’s ‘Hobo’s Lullaby’.

• Crystal Castles have released new single ‘Fleece’. Their new album, ‘Amnesty (I)’, is out this week. They also play Rough Trade East on 23 Aug.

• El Perro Del Mar will release new album ‘KoKoro’ on 16 Sep. From it, this is new single ‘Ding Sum’.

• Goat have shared ‘Alarms’ from their forthcoming album ‘Requiem’.

• Rapper C Cane has released the video for ‘Levels’, from her forthcoming new EP.

• Jess Mills has put out the title track from her new EP under the name SLO. Here’s ‘Atone’, featuring Bearcubs.

• PWR BTTM have released a new track, ‘New Hampshire’, from their debut album, ‘Ugly Cherries’. They’ll also be touring the UK In December.

• Björk has announced that she will play the Hammersmith Apollo in London on 24 Sep, in addition to her Albert Hall show on 21 Sep.

• Pixies have added three more UK dates to their end of their Nov/Dec tour, including a third Brixton Academy show on 6 Dec.

• Justin Bieber has deleted his Instagram account because he is the greatest. You should all follow suit.
