Other notable announcements and developments today…

• Sunday Best Recordings has announced a new agreement with [PIAS] Cooperative, the bit of [PIAS] that helps indie labels market and develop their acts on a worldwide basis. The new deals covers the globe except US and Japan.

• Kanye West has uploaded two new tracks to his Soundcloud page. First, a new version of ‘808s And Heartbreak’ song ‘Say You Will’. And second, ‘When I See It’, a rework of The Weeknd’s ‘Tell Your Friends’, which West co-produced

• Grimes’ new album is called ‘Art Angels’, in case you wondered. We wondered if it might be called ‘Ac!d Reign’, because that’s the name of her recently announced tour. But we were wrong in our wondering. Wrong, wrong, wrong. And now the name is sorted out, we can expect some actual new music next week.

• Gwen Stefani performed her new single ‘Used To Love You’ for the first time at a show in New York last week. Every single person who was there filmed it and put it on YouTube, so pick an angle and get listening.

• Kelela is holding a surprise release party for her recently released EP ‘Hallucinogen’ at The Nest in Stoke Newington tonight. Unless the poster I saw was a hallucination.

• Wolf Alice will be heading out on a pretty fucking hefty chunk of UK tour dates next March, capitalising on their certainly assured Mercury Prize win. It’ll all finish up at The Forum in London on 27 Mar.
