• Management company Wildlife Entertainment has appointed record industry veteran Emma Greengrass – most recently with Universal’s Caroline – to the role of MD. Her new boss, Ian McAndrew, is “delighted” about the hire.
• Notting Hill Academy Of Music, the music business education venture run out of London’s Notting Hill Arts Club, has announced Martin Davies as its new Chairman, while Sam Tewari becomes the college’s Artist Development Manager, a role he will do alongside his A&R job at Relentless Records.
• Sophie Ellis-Bextor has released the video for new single ‘Come With Us’.
• NAO has released the video for new single ‘Girlfriend’.
• So Cow will release a new album, ‘Lisa Marie Airplane Tour’, on 16 Sep. From it, this is ‘What Makes A Man Start Gorse Fires?’
• Holy Fuck have announced three gigs in the UK and Ireland in October: Brighton’s The Haunt on 14 Oct, London’s Village Underground on 15 Oct and Whelan’s in Dublin on 16 Oct.
