CMU’s One Liners: Will Young video, Hozier charity show, Ludovico Einaudi album and more

Other notable announcements and developments today…
• Norwegian metal band Shining have signed a new worldwide record deal with Spinefarm to release their seventh album later this year.
• Will Young has released a video for ‘Like A River’, taken from his new album ‘85% Proof’, which is out on 25 May. Watch the video here.
• Adam Lambert has premiered his new single, ‘Ghost Town’, with one of those lyric video things. It’s taken from his new album ‘The Original High’, which is out on 15 Jun.
• Ludovico Einaudi will release a new album, titled ‘Taranta Project’, on 4 May. Here’s a short film in which he discusses the concept and collaborations behind it. Einaudi will perform a one-off UK show at Blenheim Palace on 28 Jun.
• Hozier will headline an Xfm-hosted show at The Garage in London on 24 May. Tickets will go on sale via xfm.co.uk tomorrow at 8am, with proceeds going to Global’s Make Some Noise charity.
• Gaz Coombes has announced two shows for this autumn, in addition to his upcoming May tour dates. He’ll play Manchester’s Academy 2 on 8 Oct and The Forum in London on 9 Oct.
