Convention updates: Liverpool Sound City, Focus Wales

Organisers of Liverpool Sound City announced the final additions to their convention schedule on Friday, with SJM boss Simon Moran in conversation as part of the LSC-hosted UK Music Student Awards, plus new panels confirmed on mobile music and the state of music radio, and a session focused on A&R involving Dan Smith of headliners Bastille with his manager Polly Comber and Virgin Records A&R man Nick Burgess.

Also announcing details of their conference is FOCUS Wales, the Wrexham-based festival and convention that runs from 24-27 Apr this year. Building audience, social media campaigns and engaging the music press will be amongst the topics discussed, while Un-Convention will present a session titled ‘Building Your Ideal Festival’.
