Danger Mouse set to work with Adele and Red Hot Chili Peppers
By Chris Cooke | Published on Monday 17 August 2015
If you, like me, whenever you type in the name Deadmau5, for a fraction of a second actually think of Danger Mouse, and then think, I wonder what the hell that Danger Mouse is up to, well, wonder no more. Danger Mouse is working with both Adele and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on brand new material.
Well, that’s what Billboard has reported, with the producer – aka Brian Burton – seemingly set to take on production duties on new albums for both acts, as well as launching his own imprint with Sony label Columbia Records. So, there could well be plenty of output from Burton in the coming year or so. And once he’s back in the news a bit, I wonder if it’ll work in reverse and I’ll be wondering what Deadmau5 is up to. No, pretty certain it won’t.
