Dave Stewart announces Kobalt Label Services deal

Dave Stewart has signed up with Kobalt Label Services for the release of his next album, ‘Lucky Numbers’, with a first single, ‘Every Single Night’ featuring Martina McBride, going online yesterday.
The new Stewart long-player will be released by the one-time Eurythmic’s own label Weapons Of Mass Entertainment in partnership with the Kobalt label services business via a partnership that covers all territories excluding Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Confirming the new deal with Kobalt, which expands Stewart’s existing relationship with the music publishing side of the company, the musician/producer told CMU: “I’ve had a really great relationship with Kobalt for over five years and it seemed natural to me when they started KLS, to continue working with such a great company”.
Kobalt President Richard Sanders added: “As an entrepreneur and pioneer of innovation himself, Dave has been a long-time supporter and valued client of Kobalt’s alternative model. We’re extremely proud to further extend our already successful relationship with him to be his official label services partner on this exciting new album”.
