Digbeth Institute to re-open in September

The HMV owned MAMA Group has announced that Birmingham venue the Digbeth Institute will reopen on 17 Sep following a multi-million refurb. The new look venue will be called the hmvInstitute, and tickets for Autumn gigs there will go on sale this week.
MAMA chief Dean James told CMU: “The Institute is a fantastic venue with a great heritage unique in Birmingham as a wonderful live and club space. We are hugely excited at the prospect of the reborn building opening its doors for the first time as the hmvInstitute”.
