Digital Music Trends recorded live at this year’s TGE

An exciting new addition to the CMU Insights-programmed Great Escape Convention this year was a live recording of the popular music tech podcast Digital Music Trends, with panellists appearing elsewhere in the convention joining host Andrea Leonelli to tackle both topics being discussed at TGE this year, and the most recent events in digital music.
Sharing their thoughts were music business analyst Chris Carey, Sony Music’s Fred Bolza, Cliff Fluet from Lewis Silkin and Eleven, and CMU’s very own Andy Malt, while topics covered included YouTube royalties and Kobalt’s ProKlaim platform, the future of direct to fan, Bloom.fm looking for a buyer and Sean Combs’ plans with Revolt.tv.
