Dizzee Rascal has been asked to voice the Coco Pops monkey, or so the rapper has claimed on Twitter, while posting a picture of himself doing an impression of the Kellogg’s promotional character.
Dizzee tweeted yesterday: “REAL TALK! I’ve just been asked to do the voice over for the Coco Pops monkey! I always wanted to be the Milky Bar Kid… Oh well!”
Whether or not the rapper, currently working on his next album while also about to appear on Calvin Harris’s new long player, would consider the gig isn’t clear, though the hastag he used on the photo -“#thisracismiskillingmeinside” – possibly suggests not.
