DJ Mag launches 2010 Top 100 DJs poll
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 2 August 2010
DJ Mag has launched its annual search for the world’s best DJ, as voted for by clubbers from around the world. Armin van Buuren has topped the list for the last three years in a row, though with the ascension of dubsteppers like Skream and the continued popularity of Tiësto (himself a three time winner), the Dutch DJ and producer’s position is looking far from assured. Last year saw the poll receive 350,000 votes from dance fans in over 230 countries, with over 40,000 DJs nominated, and those numbers are expected to have increased this year when voting closes on 23 Sep.
