DLT pleads not guilty to new indecent assault charge

Dave Lee Travis has, as expected, entered a not guilty plea in relation to a new charge of indecent assault.
As previously reported, Travis was formally charged with assaulting a woman in 1995 last week. He was previously found not guilty, earlier this year, of twelve charges of indecent assault, but will face retrial on two other charges, as the jury in the original court case could not reach a conclusion on them.
His next hearing will be at Southwark Crown Court on 8 May.
