Doherty says he was conned into MTV documentary

Pete Doherty says that he was conned into taking part in that TV documentary that aired on MTV last month.
The programme, ‘Pete Doherty In 24 Hours’, followed the singer as he took part in a Gio Goi fashion show, and also featured footage of him at his home in Wiltshire. In a new interview Doherty claims that Gio Goi founder Anthony Donnelly tricked him into participating with the documentary.
The Babyshambles frontman, who releases his debut solo ‘Grace/Wastelands’ on Monday, told Xfm: “I was conned into it. A fella called Anthony Donelly, of Gio Goi fame, said would I mind giving him some stuff for his fashion show and doing a little turn? And then he turned up with a whole film crew. He slipped me a monkey and then the next thing it was being shown every five minutes on MTV”.
