Edge back new Driscoll venture
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 18 May 2010
Well, we didn’t think it could be long before MAMA Group co-founder Adam Driscoll reappeared on the scene. Driscoll, of course, stood down as co-CEO of MAMA shortly after its acquisition by HMV.
But he already has a new venture in development, a music and media outfit to be called Granon Entertainment. We know this because entertainment investment outfit Edge Performance yesterday announced it was investing in the new business.
Edge Group founder David Glick told CMU: “Adam Driscoll is a first-rate entrepreneur with a great track record and we are delighted that he has turned to Edge for this new venture”.
There are few details of what the new company will do, with Driscoll simply saying: “Changes in the entertainment industry mean there is no shortage of opportunity out there”.
