Editors announce new album and tour dates

Editors have announced that they will release their sixth album, ‘Violence’, on 9 Mar. They’ve also just released the video for the LP’s first single, ‘Magazine’.
”’Magazine’ is a pointed finger aimed at those in power”, says frontman Tom Smith. “Some corrupt politician or businessman – a character, and a tongue in cheek poke at the empty posturing and playing to the masses of the power hungry”.

The band will also be touring in March – tickets go on general sale on Friday. Here are the dates:
4 Mar: Birmingham Town Hall
5 Mar: Manchester Cathedral
6 Mar: London, Clapham Grand
