Elbow to release Seldom Seen live album
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 2 February 2009
Earlier this month, Elbow convened at Abbey Road studios in London to perform their Mercury Music Prize winning album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’ in its entirety with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Chantage, the winners of Radio 3’s Choir Of The Year competition.
If you were on the ball, you may have caught a recording of the performance on Saturday on Radio 2. If you missed it, don’t worry, the band are giving you another chance to hear it.
Pre-orders are currently being taken for copies of ‘The Seldom Seen Kid Live At Abbey Road’, which comes with a CD and DVD of the entire show, all wrapped up in a very nice-looking box.
Only a limited number of copies of the album will be pressed and they will only ever be available from the band’s website at www.elbow.co.uk. So, I’d advise you get yourself over there sharpish.
