Elton John collaborator faces DUI charges

Elton John’s songwriting partner Bernie Taupin is facing DUI charges after an incident on 5 May in Santa Barbara, California.
According to reports, the lyricist was originally arrested on 5 May after driving his truck into a wooden fence. The resulting DUI charges have now been made, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.
No court date has as yet been set.
